The fourth installment in the John Wick franchise, the film stars Keanu Reeves as the title character, alongside Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, Clancy Brown, and Ian McShane. In the film, John Wick sets out to get revenge on the High Table and those who left him for dead.

I realise that it is a long overdue review but some things need to be said about certain movies.

John Wick was exactly what Maverick was for me…..A movie that bred nostalgia and reminded me that movies can still be brutally awesome in 2022/23.

It was wild and sometimes over the top but you forget all of that because it is just so damn entertaining.

There is a scene at the Arc de Triomphe that is visually stunning and so insane I could not believe what I was watching and kept wondering how the hell they did it. A birds eye view fight scene in a building had me wondering the same thing……In short the cinematography is off the charts!

The latest gun-blasting thriller surpasses all of my expectations and comes in at an epic 169 minutes of blood-soaked shooting, killing, fighting and insanity, but not a minute of that running time is wasted.
